According to Pilatus, the PC-24 is a short takeoff and landing aircraft, with the ability to take-off and land on unpaved runways and grass strips, giving it access to more than 21,000 airports globally. The aircraft features a larger than usual cargo door that provides direct access to the luggage compartment. The PC-24 also features what the company calls an Advanced Cockpit Environment, which uses as many as four LCD displays to provide vital information in real-time to the pilot. The jet’s engines are mounted on the upper portion of the fuselage to avoid any damages from foreign objects when landing or taking off on rough airstrips.

5. Gulfstream G500

Gulfstream intends to replace the G450 with its more fuel efficient and faster cousin, the G500. According to the aircraft manufacturer, the jet will enter service in 2019 and can achieve a maximum speed of Mach 0.925. The G500 has a flight range of 5,000 nmi and can accommodate as many as 19 passengers. Gulfstream G500 includes active sidesticks by BAE Systems that provide better display and instrument panel access to the pilot, which scores high on the safety front.
