Over the years, Cliff has developed a penchant for Quality Assurance during his career in the manufacturing of the Conversion Coatings industry; however, his passion for aviation pulled him away from his career in the chemical field. Cliff got his start in aviation as a licensed aircraft maintenance technician working for Augusta Westland Tiltrotor Company where he was assigned to the experimental tiltrotor aircraft AW609 fleet. During his tenure with AWTC, Cliff attended the Augusta Westland Quality Assurance Training School in Cascina Costa, Italy. Upon returning to the States, he assumed the role of Quality Inspector for the AW609 tiltrotor during flight testing. Later Cliff shifted his focus in aviation from rotorcraft to fixed-wing corporate jets and went to work for a Part 145 Repair Station as a Quality Inspector where he worked to the Chief Inspector position.
